In what may be the most pointless debate of the decade, the internet has split into warring camps over a single, burning question: Is it better to smoke weed before you eat, or after?
“It’s like arguing over appetizer order while at an all-you-can-eat buffet,” notes one exasperated commenter
First up, the “Before Eaters,” who swear a pre-meal puff elevates everything—even that gas station burrito—to five-star dining. “If I’m not tasting every molecule of this mac and cheese, what’s the point?” posted @highlyflavored, somehow ignoring the fact that they just microwaved a Cup Noodles.
On the other side, the “After Eaters” argue that the post-meal joint is chef’s kiss, giving you that full-belly zen without risking your stovetop becoming a fire hazard. “Nothing says satisfaction like a smoke after your third slice of pizza,” tweeted @ChronicChiller, whose snack cabinet looks like a Costco aisle. The Before Eaters collectively rolled their eyes, calling them “cowards avoiding the true munchie challenge.”
Then, there’s the wild-card “During Diners,” who argue for lighting up throughout the meal for the “full experience.” This has naturally enraged both Before and After camps. “Who wants a side of ashes with their soup?” sniffed @PuffDecider.
But honestly, who cares? “Is there actually a wrong time to smoke?” wondered @WiseStoner, before muting the hashtag and breaking out the snacks. After all, in a debate about the “perfect time” to light up, the real winner is…whoever ignored this entire argument and just smoked whenever they felt like it.
